MacroEdge 2025 Roadmap Update - Q3 2024 (Putting Our Success In Motion)
In this midweek report - we deviate from the norm and describe our progress and what's ahead for MacroEdge for the remainder of the year and beyond.
MacroEdge 2025 Roadmap Update - Q3 2024 (Don Johnson; @DonMiami3 & Ulysses Awsumb; @MrAwsumb)
Transforming the Way Individuals, Small Businesses, and Enterprises See Financial Data and Research
We’ve come so far in just under a year since we launched MacroEdge to the public. While we initially started off our organization as a loosely connected group of authors, economists, subject experts, and business leaders - most of whom wanted to share their opinions on the world, financial markets, and the economy - with a broader audience - we’re ready to enter a new phase of growth for our organization as we become more relevant by the day in the financial and economic world.
We’ve grown to over 35,000 followers across our platforms, with almost a quarter million reads of our research (accross Substack and MacroEdge.net), 100,000+ listens to MacroEdge Radio episodes, and continued growth across our services and offerings. Our team cannot say thank you to all who have made this growth possible in such a short period.
As we navigate our way through the third quarter of the year (how it’s already August - I have no clue) we wanted to provide an update to our 2025 Roadmap, which we formerly referred to as our ‘Vision’. You can also find this update on the MacroEdge website on the ‘Roadmap’ tab. Given that our Investment Research desk is now ‘Vision’ - it made having two entirely separate ‘Visions’ confusing (obviously). As promised when we first launched MacroEdge - which at the time fell under an entirely different name - our goal was to disrupt the industry and capture market share in a world of confusing data, false narratives, bad market information, and an all-around lack of innovation. While the original ‘eye-catcher’ for individuals, small businesses, and organizations was the MacroEdge Job Cuts Tracker - we’re building on this disruption with our 2025 Roadmap of planned services and offerings to continue capturing market share in what we view as an antiquated industry.
I am pleased to announce that we plan on bringing new core offerings to the MacroEdge portfolio with the below update to our 2025 Roadmap:
Where We’re At Today:
> MacroEdge Research
Ozone (Our all-in-one research and data umbrella)
Macro Research (USA)
MacroEdge Investment Research (known as Vision now)
Data Dashboard (Proprietary MacroEdge Datasets and Economic Health Gauges)
MacroEdge Global (Canada, Oceania, and Europe)
MacroEdge Social Club
MacroEdge Media
MacroEdge Radio hosted by John Galt
MacroEdge TV hosted by Ulysses Awsumb (In progress)
On-screen interviews
Unique research and data coverage
Real estate presentations
On-the-ground interviews
& more
A note from Ulysses Awsumb:
“The future is Bright not just for MacroEdge, but for all of our readers.
Among some of the highlights coming down the pike will be MacroEdge TV.
We're working to produce a weekly show, but rather than putting out hours long "content", we seek to deliver a routine information packed shorter duration show, where you'll get nothing but the best research and insight you're used to, delivered in a 30 minute easy to understand and enjoy segment, full of actionable data and grounded in reality.
Additionally, we're working to deliver a one-on-one interview series with the brightest minds across industries, to get additional takes on important market segments, movements and key insights by people in the know.
While the information and grounded research is our goal, keep a look out for an hour long segment that will deliver on not just research, but fiscal and monetary policy, with the same wit and humor you've come to expect from the MacroEdge team.
With the right data, focus and approach, 2025 is looking up for everyone that looks for opportunity.”
Where We’re Going:
Updates on individual items will be provided as we progress through the year.

Substack exit
We have long delayed our exit from Substack due to its ease of email list management as well as distribution management for our team’s research, work, and updates. The platform itself remains best-in-class for distribution management although we anticipate a phasing out from the platform once we are in a place to assure that all Ozone members are ready for the transition.
> The Longer Term (1H 2025 and beyond)
Other single-sector insights
Expansion of our global data coverage
